Is this M5 stock or "lowered"? I think it is bone stock, but some people think it is "lowered" with aftermarket components, maybe you can educate me.

With just the third post, I won't spoil the results, but man...I just can't stomach the exterior of the updated E Class

Amazing how much MB has done to elevate the image of the E class. Not too long ago the E class image was just as boring and dreadful as Lexus ES, and vanilla E320/E350s were best suited for retired accountants. Nowadays the E class is stepping all over 5 series and GS toes. Can't wait to see what they do when its fully redesigned.

these are powerful cars. i was most impressed with the e63 amg wagon. it beat out a lot of sport/super cars in acceleration and cornering feel.

I have seen it in person also - that front end is tacky and ridiculous looking, though the rest of the car looks decent.

Tables have turned... E class looks kind of tacky now, interior looks like from decade ago, but in this kind of car, performance is all that matters and AMG has it in spades... well done.

not a fan of new e-class front, but no one can accuse them of being boring now.

First time I've heard someone complain that a car being flat in cornering is a bad thing. This is why I hate car magazines sometimes.

What I can only guess the reviewer means is that the M5 doesn't communicate feedback well to the driver during cornering. But if that's the case, it's not the flat cornering that's the problem, but rather that the reviewer feels like the steering and suspension aren't giving the desired response. Saying that he'd rather have body roll or chassis flex is just mind-boggling.
