People would have to be crazy to think they couldn't find a CUV in today's market. So many nice offerings
Very nice indeed. From the rear, except for the taillights, it looks similar to the Q5 even down to the "clamshell" tailgate and one piece taillights..,
Exterior is nice, but the interior looks like a mild update to something from the late 90s. I really don't care for it at all. 285hp Ecoboost option is sweet

Agreed. The interior is bland at best, dated at worst.
really? i love how there's no shifter to make the center console area clean and uncluttered. there's also nice wood.
i know the rx is due for replacement, but this mkc interior is hands down better imo.
The RX is now 5 years old, and while I don't care much for the interior design, I'd take it over the MKC any day. The RX has flat, shapeless door panels and that awkward teardrop-shaped dash, neither of which I like at all. With that said, the RX interior has more character and looks a lot more updated than Lincoln's two-decade-old waterfall dash with a funeral home color palette. That steering wheel is also horribly ugly and the expanse of black/graphite plastic across the dash looks bad. Always hard to tell from photos, but the materials in the RX also look a lot nicer.
Not to mention that I think the NX is the MKC's true competition, and even then, the NX looks much nicer.
The specs on the 2.3L EcoBoost engine also continue the "turbo 4 vs. V6" debate. 285hp and 18/26/21 is relatively even with most 3.5L V6s, but the EcoBoost engine has more torque. Unfortunately, there really isn't any MPG advantage.
I still can't get past the Lincoln badge, and VW Tiguan-like grill and headlights and overall rounded and totally flush front-end styling. Same goes with the MKZ, MKX, and MKS.

I wouldn't buy the MKC but do prefer the styling from the pics. Need to see both the NX and MKC in person.
