Maybe Lexus should bring in a CT 200t...a two variant line would work. The CT has been around now for 5 model years (2011-2015). I'm curious when the 2CT will arrive...
2011 - 14,381
2012 - 17,673
2013 - 15,071
2014 - 16,065 (Jan - Nov 2014)
Total - 63,190
probably sometimes in 2016 or early 2017? Its rumored to have 2.0t, and new platform should be lighter with low center of gravity so sportier... but lets see.
If you are looking for a huge muscle car, I do not think CT200H is for you. I have a 2003GX470 at going to 95K miles and 2016CT200H F-sport base package and there is a huge difference, but I will tell you, CT200H is fun and exhilarating to drive. The CT has three modes to drive ECON-NORMAL-SPORT, I always use the SPORT mode for descent acceleration and excitement on the freeway or street driving. Also, for 18mile one way commute from home to work, and return, at full SPORT all the time, it cost only $20 for two weeks in Calif Bay Area. I should not post the gas mileage of my GX470, everybody knows it.
The CT needs more sound insulation. Road and engine noise is abundant in this Lexus
This. I had one as a loaner when I had my GS and was surprised at the amount of road and engine noise. Re: more power, it is peppy off the line but then loses steam quickly.
