Road & Track's 2013 Performance Car of the Year

^ I'd still take a Golf GTI over the Fiesta ST, despite it costing $4,000 more. I'd take it over the much more powerful Focus ST, despite it costing more and having 50 less hp.
The Golf just has a more "subtle" look about it, plus its built like a $50,000 Audi on the inside. Those plaid seats are amazing, both in terms of comfort/support and the look.
Granted it isn't as fast as a Focus ST. The main reason I'd drive the VW over either of those Fords is that I don't look like some 17 year old Fast and Furious punk, or some balding, overweight 30 year old Fast and Furious punk in my case.

I believe VW is supposed to start upping the power. GTI near 250hp and R around 300hp in the near future if Rumormill is correct

Car of the year is also Mine
I decided back in the spring to speck mine out and place the order. LoLo came off the line 7 Oct and with over two thousand miles now she brings me lots of smiles and I still walk out of the Grocery store to see people walking around gawking and shooting photos.
