Nissan’s IDx Freeflow concept is FRS competitor

those are cool wish they had that design for America. I'm definitely considering one of these if the the price is right, along with the design close to the original concept.

To kick off the #IDxinSoCal tour, Nissan first stopped by our home offices for a private showcase. For the first time, witness both the Nismo and Freeflow edition fired up and in motion

If it dosen't get a real manual tranny I don't think it will get the response there looking for. The 86/FR-S/BRZ all have a third pedal option and rear wheel drive which is missing from all other cars this size and is one the main reasons that they are so much fun to drive.

Nissan brought the IDx Freeflow and Idx Nismo concepts to Cars and Coffee in Irvine CA for the first ever public viewing of the all new next generation Nissans as a sort of litmus test to gauge the public's reaction to the sport compact concepts. The IDx Freeflow is a sort of throwback to a simpler time when cars were less about connectivity and more about being connected to the road, while the IDx Nismo shows what 21st century tuners could do with a modern interpretation of the classic three box shape. No matter which IDx tickles your fancy, you'll be happy to hear that the Japanese automaker intends to bring something like this to market in the very near future.
If you want to let Nissan know how much you want to see the IDx hit the street then send a tweet with #IDxinSoCal

I was thinking about this the moment I heard that they were going to build it.

I guess there is trash talk in the auto industry as well as anything else. I like these concepts and am glad they will build one of them but personally, I wish guys like this would just shut up with the trash talk and build their car. Then let the machine speak for itself.
Sounds like a guy I know
