I'd have to see it person. While the pics are pro they do nothing for me. That's not to say this car wouldn't grow on me like a a well seasoned wine which I prefer. Some styles I see and I take an immediate liking to it and it dissipates just as quickly. This car certainly has it's angles and charm but I'd need to walk around it for a second & third and maybe fourth look. Lol.

Toyota Reveals Two New Versions Of Supra-Previewing FT-1 Concept
Toyota has revealed two new versions of its stunning FT-1 sports car concept, which is thought to preview the look of an upcoming Supra successor as well as lay the groundwork for the design of future models from the Japanese automaker. The original FT-1 concept was shown back in January at the Detroit Auto Show; one of the new versions will be shown at a Monterey event coinciding with this weekend’s Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance while the other will remain in virtual form only, at least for now.
We already knew the virtual version, which is dubbed the FT-1 Vision Gran Turismo, due to its association with the 15th anniversary celebration of the Gran Turismo video game series, was coming. But the second car, which features a graphite exterior hue, is quite the surprise. Toyota calls this additional version an “upscale interpretation” of the FT-1 and the concept hints at what the Supra successor could offer buyers in terms of luxury and refinement.
The color of the interior also changes between the original and new FT-1 concepts, and the visual difference is striking. The original featured simple black trim that aimed to keep the driver focused on the road, while red painted edges and raw metals provided all the accents. In the new version, there is natural leather on the seat which is supple and has an all-natural grain that appears warm and inviting.
The FT-1 Vision Gran Turismo, featured in the video, is a very different car. It hints at what a racing version of any Supra successor could be like, and will be available for download in Gran Turismo 6 for the Sony PlayStation 3 next month. Note, the other two FT-1 concepts will also be available for download, for a limited time.
The FT-1 Vision GT is said to be a high-powered FT-1, although we still don’t know what’s powering the concepts other than there being some form of hybrid drivetrain beneath the pretty sheet metal. Toyota says the development of the race car concept for GT6 helped key executives, including company boss Akio Toyoda, get a better feel for the FT-1 prior to any of the concepts actually being built.
As for any production version of the FT-1, Toyota has only confirmed that it plans to launch a new sports car on a platform being developed with BMW, with the German automaker set to use the platform for its own sports car, believed to be a replacement for the Z4. Toyota has also renewed its trademark for the Supra name in the recent past, and shown off a high-performance hybrid system in concept form.

Introducing the 2nd Version of the Toyota FT-1 in Gran Turismo 6
On August 13th (local time) at the McCall's Motorworks Revival hosted in California, Toyota unveiled a full scale model of the Toyota FT-1 Concept with new colors and interior. This car, named as “Toyota FT-1 graphite” in-game, is to be included in a free update planned for the PlayStation®3 exclusive title “Gran Turismo 6” in September 2014.
Following the unveil of the first FT-1 at the January 2014 Detroit show, this 2nd version was once again developed at Calty Design, Toyota’s North American Design center. The interior of the first model was black with red accents combined with exposed metal surfaces. This model however, is finished in leather with brown edge accents for a natural and refined look. The new interior design which is based on modern day movie superheroes and upscale leather bags shows the variety of possibilities and versatility of the FT-1.

Looks better then the red one, more production ready, does not look as unrealistically low and long as the red one. Side profile looks great. Front grill is still too over styled and should be toned down, I am not a fan of that extended nose in the middle. The side driver/passenger window I think would look much better extending to the back following that curve instead of being cut off like that which hampers visibility especially if there are rear seats.
Still want to know where they are going with the engine, the car looks to be too special and expensive for a regular Toyota engine so are they going to make something new for it or is it going to get a V8 shared with the ISF which is going to make it very expensive. I would love a inline 6 turbo but BMW would be the last choice for it to be shared with considering all the problems BMW turbo six cylinders have been having, especially in higher tune.
Why are most of the interior controls angled so much to the passenger? That layout does not make much sense especially since it is a 2 door sports/GT car that is likely to have just a driver in it much of the time.
