Y'all need to calm down. That's the base model interior. Hoovey is right- that's for models without nav. It's no different than what you find in a Ford Fusion. Here's a well-optioned example, courtesy of Jalopnik:

There's no copying anymore unless it's blatant. It's mostly recycled designs now

It does look good. And it does look like the Avalon from the side.

Gotta say I wasnt expecting 300hp in this category car just yet.

A lot of very interesting design elements in this car. Not quite sure how I feel about all of them together, based on pics, but it is certainly a huge step up and 295hp/9AT is amazing for this class

Looks more upscale than the outgoing version, but I don't like the grill. It may work on the Dart but on here, it looks off, like its melting.

Not in love with the exterior but its not ugly and the specs look damn good! Every time I see cars like this I honestly have no clue what the point of the iLX is and why anyone would buy it.

Very soft and feminine styling. Shape of headlights is about fifteen years past. "Melting" is indeed a good word for the body. I hate dumpy (sloped) rear-ends and short trunks, (a la Avalon), and this has it. Cheap and compact car-like, and creates a nerdy hatchback look. Front looks like the Passat CC facelift, which is dated and plain.

But yes, the numbers are impressive. Is all that power and torque through the front wheels? That could be a big problem on non-AWD models.

And here's yet another U.S. car that has a sporty blue paint job. Maybe Lexus is making more money selling Ultrasonic Blue to other brands than putting on their own cars.

It's attractive and a huge advancement over what they were offering in this segment. But these days it just seems as if there is a limited, set profile of what cars in this class are supposed to be. Sleek with an ambiance of luxury, nondescript front ends, coupe-like roof lines, etc. While all the entries in the segment, Accord, Altima, Fusion, 6, Sonota, Camry, Optima, are all getting better all the time there is a homogenization going on which sort of keeps any one car from standing out. It's as if they all cancel each other out in a way. But the gamble that comes with doing anything radical could sink you. What a catch 22!

After all is said and done though, this new 200 will do wonders for Chrysler's monthly sales.
