I see no resemblance between the C Class or any other Mercedes and the Crown. The C Class looks like a smaller S Class.

I loved the previous generation of the C class, it was really a step up... in class I mean. Sure the interior was plasticy and what not ( have a c63 in the family ) but honestly... it was juts right. I love the c63 in terms of aggressiveness. It's slightly aggressive but not over the top. The one in my family has the vorsteiner parts on it so it kinda stands out, but a stock c63 is ridiculously clean and lowkey. Too many 3 series and is250s around where I live that are done with little to no taste.

I know that I went a little off topic but I'm getting tired of the new benz fronts... I'm starting to prefer the 3 series and IS fronts more. The CLA IMO without any AMG package is kinda ugly... Just my two cents.
Hopefully the new c class will grow on me, but right now it doesn't look sporty enough...

Sorry what I meant was that the front facia of Mercedes latest design language resembles that of the current Crown..
But I agree this new C-class's rear looks very identical to the old Crown Majesta
But honestly the Toyota Crown is the epitome of quality, refinement and comfort. There are no gimmicky, tacky or chintzy elements to it**cough S-class**cough
In Japan and Gulf countries the real BOSS all ride in Crown class and nothing else.

Both look good, as apposed to the last generation. I saw about a million cars with sport grill and 3 with the luxury treatment.
