Default When the time comes, RC-F or Camaro Z-28?

Ya not exactly the same area in class of car, but I love the new camaros and have been waiting for a new Z-28 to be rebuilt. Read on Edmunds (see link) they are estimating the price to be near $60k, maybe more, which based on IS-F pricing seems reasonable to expect the RC-F. Anyone else been watching the Z-28? At least I got some time to research and plan for my next car over next couple years.

Completely different cars..Z28 is a track car. The RC-F is a sports coupe. Latter would have great handling. Former is great track handling.

Z28 will be a lot more raw and powerful, but the RC-F will be far more refined inside and out for the extra price. Best bet is just to wait and test both when they're available.

It's hard to even compare the two, it's two totally different mindsets.

The Z 28 being built specifically for the track, extremely stripped down light weight version of the camaro, A/C doesn't come standard, no HID's, because halogens are lighter, less sound deadening, etc.
A car that seems better as a weekend trackday car

Whereas the RC-F will be a sporty coupe, leaning more towards performance but with the luxury amenities of a daily driver.

For $60k, I'd buy the C7.

as much as I like Lexus I would go with the Camaro. Its a true sports car with edge . The power will blow your mind and those wheels they put on the Z28 is worth the purchase for them alone. It will be breaking necks at lights and car shows.

Even if i do decide to go with one, just hope I can grab one of the few thousand they are making. Although that C7 is also tempting if I go for that kind of car.

C7 has a BIG waiting list right now, but it is the performance bargain of the centurey . I have also been looking onto the RC as well as the ZL1 camaro recently. I hit the camaro sites to talk to owners and they all had quality issues, but blew them off since the car was so fast and fun. I think I would steer towards the ISF because the RCF will be a while before they drop some ***** into the the car. The 3.5 liter V6 is a joke when compared to the animal living under the hood of the camaro
