I wonder who is paying to keep him on life support. Of course he's a very wealthy man, but this type of care can easily cost tens of millions.

Default Michael Schumacher out of coma and released from hospital

(CNN) -- Former F1 driver Michael Schumacher is no longer in a coma and has been released from the hospital to continue rehabilitation after a skiing accident last year, his management said in a statement Monday.
Schumacher, 45, suffered severe head trauma in a skiing accident at the French Alps resort of Meribel on December 29.
A seven-time world champion whose F1 career ended in 2012, Schumacher has been treated in Grenoble, France, since his accident.

Wow amazing news, I hope he can really recover. If I recall there were some grim times where they wanted to write him off.

thats great he is getting better, but with this amount of time down with the sever nature of the injury he will most likely never be the same. Sad

Good news, good thing people did not give up on him and hopefully he will make a full or close to full recovery soon.

No, it happened on December 29. So when they say last year, they're technically correct, but only a little.

6 months.
