Default How old is your daily driver????

Mine is 22 years old. 1992 Lexus SC300/5 speed/74k miles . . . .

Funny thing is my backup "truck" is actually newer. Its a 93 Toyota truck, 2wd/22RE/5 speed with 170k miles on it. Its a total pos though, been "lightly" smashed in the front, painted with flat black house paint, doesn't have a straight body panel on it. Still runs great. You can see its tail end in the upper left corner of this pic.

Production date - October 2005.

I plan on keeping her for a long time...I was thinking of getting her a little sister, a new IS or a GS...i'll see how things go.

I wish it was the 2UZ-FE...i also wish it was a Manual. ( 4 speed auto )

Glad to see somebody take such pride in their car, mine is washed by hand once a week(never sent through a car wash), waxed/thoroughly detailed about every 4 to 6 weeks. I find killing an hour every week washing the car to be theraputic. I usually do one little "extra" job like cleaning the inside windows, vacuming, dusting, etc every week. Then on that odd detail day, I spend about 6 hours just washing, polishing, detailing, going over every spec of the car to the inth degree.

8.

But I drove my '99 Legacy GT until it was 14 and would have driven it longer had our attempt at replacing the head gaskets not failed.

1991 LS400. My 92 is gone, so this one is my parents' backup.

Almost ended up with a 2 year old car yesterday...looking closely at Fusions right now

A GT? Interesting. Most of the chronic head gasket gasket failures on Subarus were on older N/A 2.5L flat-fours, not on turbos like the GT. The 1999-2003 non-turbo 2.5s were given an extended 8/80 warranty on the engine if a special special Subaru engine-coolant-conditioner was added to the radiator.

92 LS somewhere well above 300k miles. I don't know anymore because the second odometer broke and I don't feel like replacing it again.
