Good bye IMA. You will not be missed. I don't think anyone will miss the Insight either.

Yeah it just wasn't as good as Toyota's HSD.

But Toyota has spent big dollar and time in their HSD.

The problem with Honda is that since the late nineties / early 000s the bean counters had taken over. It's just recently that they're finally starting to come out of their shell, although slowly.

Yessir, which is why they lead the way in Hybrid Technology. Ford is coming on strong with their Hybrid tech too, though it isn't as refined as Toyota.

The GS450h powertrain for overall refinement, efficiency and performance is phenomenal

Yeah the GS450h does have a extremely refined ride.
Which is why they axed the V8 GS I guess.

Yes, it has "V8 acceleration" or did . Competitors like the M35h er Q70 Hybrid, Q50 Hybrid and Panamera Hybrid do have more hp which I'd like to see Lexus up in the future while still retaining refinement and efficiency.

Back when the 3GS 450h debuted. Lexus took it too a track and had Lexus employees and members of their dealer network come experience it. They brought along a GS460, and lined the two up. Before any numbers were released Lexus asked everyone which they thought was faster. As you can guess almost unanimously everyone said the V8. Boy were they suprised
