This sums it up

Unfortunately, the 2014 Infiniti QX60 Hybrid lives somewhere between these two poles. Not particularly powerful, nor anywhere near as thrifty at the fuel pump as it needs to be to gain a competitive advantage, it doesn’t justify its higher price over the likable gas-only QX60, and it shows an unusual misunderstanding from Infiniti as to what luxury customers are looking for in a hybrid family vehicle.
It is a nice vehicle, with great cabin materials. Unfortunately it doesn't WOW as much as it should/could

4 cylinder supercharged hybrid, in this behemoth. Explains the poor mileage.

2.5 Litres is going to get taxed by that weight.

Personally that's why I believe if the ES300h 2.5L was in the CT it would not only have an extra 66hp, but probably better mileage too.

400H will get no where near your 42mpg.. I get around 22 to 26 mpg So it may not feel like a hybrid to you at all at the pump. The cup holder at first I thought it was odd that it blocked the vent but now i think its awesome.
