Ah I see.

I guess from the perspective of Germany, the Mexican-made Jetta has to pay import tax and customs fees...........which the Wolfsburg-made Golf doesn't.

I guess it also applies to the rest of Europe.

I'm sure you've read the part regarding VW Diesel cars (with a manual gearbox) stalling.

I'm guessing that this car is not friendly to beginner drivers then (i.e. those learning how to drive a stick)

What are your thoughts on this?
