Aston....Bentley...Maserati...which do you choose?

Bentley's are AWD cars with front longitudinally mounted engines. This make them nothing like any VW product. They do share with the Audi A8 but that is a bespoke platform.

Nothing I've said is false. The Continental and Flying Spur are based on a FWD VW platform for $200k a pop each. AWD is standard so not to embarrass them.
So yeah go Aston Martin.
And please don't come in here defending Bentley's as "AWD" cars. If VW cared less about parts sharing and cared more about progressing Bentley as a true prestige car maker, they would spend the money to develop bespoke RWD/AWD platforms for Bentley, rather than just take a FWD platform they already have, mount the engine sideways and slap on AWD and some marketing and call it a day. Maybe then your $200k prestige car won't get out-proportioned by a Chrysler 300.
Also don't get me started on the "German engineering" nonesense either, that is NEVER valid justification to buy one car over another since it is pretty much 90% marketing bull****. It means nothing in today's world, especially if it's coming from VW. They took a Chrysler minivan, slapped a VW badge on it, and called it "German Engineered".
A front wheel drive only configuration was available with the 3.2 L engine during the 2003 and 2004 model years.

Technically, the VW van may have been partially German engineered. IIRC, diamler still owned Chrysler when that generation of the caravan was designed.
