Actually for majority of Chinese customers it's even more than they can handle cause taxes above 1999cc engines are outrageous. This is a premium powertrain in China that only upper middle class will be able to afford. I will be surprised if 2.0 would not be an option when this rolls out.

that's not my point. wherever the car will be sold isn't important, but my point is, since at this point it's a concept, and since so often the final product doesn't bear much resemblance to a concept, i'll wait until the real product is shown to decide what i think of it.

Displacement taxes are stupid. But I guess they miss out on goodness.

And the current Accord Euro is all show & no go. Also there's no point in having a good chassis, handling & spirited styling if your car has no guts. Current Euro with the 2.4L is a gutless machine. Even the old 2AZ-FE Camry is better.

The current Camry with the 2.5L 2AR-FE would easily walk all over the Euro while still maintaining much better MPG, refinement and reliability.

The 2.4 was adequate on the previous Euro which was smaller & lighter.

New one is too fat

I think it was a big mistake for Honda to replace the TSX with the ILX. With that said I hope they change their minds and gives the US the Spirior but under the Acura badge.

Oh so you're more of a fan of the CL9 then

I see

In my opinion though, I think both the CL9 and CU2 are amazing and are basically positive progressions of each other. Hopefully, the next-gen model will continue such progression
