Next generation LS: Will Lexus save the best for last?

There will be no last. Every redesign will bring a new era of something or some evolution of a evolving style. Some redo's will be bigger than others, but there is no beginning point or ending point. Just when this new gaping fish mouth look is on all models, Lexus will refine it, change it, and go with the next big thing. This industry never rests and always changes.

looking forward to the new LS. I will probably buy one in the future once I get done beating the ish out of my ISF. I think I am having a midlife crisis a little early

Toyota knows that an LS-F, say with 500 HP or something, wouldn't sell enough to justify. The LS buyer doesn't fit the profile. Mercedes and BMW get a way with offering such cars for obvious reasons and even they sell in tiny numbers.
People ask for these things on the internet but then would never actually buy it if it were available.

Well, they have the F Sports, but yes no AMG competitor. Toyota knows that an LS-F, say with 500 HP or something, wouldn't sell enough to justify. The LS buyer doesn't fit the profile. Of course this is old news and has been discussed in Car Chat before but it does sound exciting, with the more sporty and aggressive theme Lexus is moving forward with an LS-F would be fitting. Plus its time for a true 'F' line.
