Sorry to hear, I hope I don't get to face them, or the problems in the future. But did you ask for a manager, or such about the attitude ? I don't know about the levorg though. SOA engineering already said "your Gasoline Suck in America" LOL.

Who gives a hoot about Direct Injection.

The STI has more displacement and more boost power.

I hear the interior is much better...but again this isn't supposed to be a Lexus so take it with a grain of salt.

Not trying to discourage anyone from buying the STI now, but how I see it, JDM STI will have the new 2.0L and USDM will follow.
True, at this point I'd rather go with something tried and true in a performance machine.

and again, congrats Whitigir!

Enjoy the ride. I have a coworker who just picked up a launch edition. The ride is too crunchy for me but it looks like it's a fun and rewarding car.

How does the short throw shifter feel? The LE comes with it, yes? I ordered a base STi in white. When I ordered it I asked about the LE, but in the end I just like white better. That and, unlike most it seems, I am not really into the gold wheels. The the white with polished rims (and some black accents and dark tint I plan on adding) looks much better than the LE, to me anyway and that's what matters.

Anyway I ordered my base STi with the short throw (as well as STi performance exhaust). In one review video the driver mentioned the short throw had a weird feel and took time to get use to. Also find it good you got 800 off MSRP. Manager at my dealer said he planned on marking up any LEs they received (based on how they sold a SE Orange STi for 4k over msrp when they got one).

Congrats - I got to check out the STI Launch Edition at the NY Auto Show.
I was very impressed by the build quality. Interior materials were very good and the back seat has a lot of room for a vehicle of this size and especially when you consider the performance it provides.

WRX is on my list for a car for my wife with the CVT.
Compared to the Forester, WRX has much nicer interior IMO.

Short throw shifter feels notchy, you may like it, or you may not. I am never a fan of STS myself, but this one in the LE, it feels right at home, very short though, and buttery smooth. LE also comes with STI Rear Bushing as well, so with only the STS, your may feel a bit different

It is alright, depend on what the condition is though, and I mean the milages on the ODO. Normally you should be able to get 500 under or invoice if you negotiate, otherwise truecar price should be at invoice +400
