Toyota Vitz/Yaris facelift is official
#21
From now, Toyota Europe has ownership of all global small car projects, like Yaris, so it is nice to see them focus on interior quality and exterior design... Above are higher end European versions.

Otherwise, interior of pre-facelifted model had few good points and generally very cheapo materials.

Restyled Toyota Yaris Hybrid Hasn’t Changed Much, Review Discovers
The Toyota Yaris Hybrid (in Euro flavor) is quite a unique proposition for the European supermini motorist.
It features a 1.5-liter petrol engine and an electric motor under the bonnet, and it can even provide silent all-electric progress for short bursts, particularly in town where it’s most at home – an eco-diesel will monster it on the highway, though.
UK magazine Which Car? had a chance to get behind the wheel, and if you didn’t see the new front fascia treatment, that, like the smaller Aygo used “X” as a styling motif, and weren’t told outright it was the revamped model, you could have been forgiven for thinking this was the pre-facelift car…
So, as before, the conclusions are the same and fairly simple: buy it if you don’t mind the constant drone caused by the variable transmission, you do a lot of driving in town and very little to none on the highway. It’s also not particularly sporty or particularly dynamically impressive like, say, any Ford Fiesta.

What?!?!? It has 2 engines, a 1.5-litre gasoline engine AND and eco-diesel?

Hybrid version is pretty great... Diesel is actually faster at higher speeds but it is also noisier at any speed.

The way that quotation was worded, it implied that there are 2 engines in the same car -- both a gasoline engine AND a diesel engine.
