Need some feedback asap on 2002 Lexus ls430 UL thanks
Im thinking of buying a 2002 lexus ls430 ul. The car has 92k miles, the water pump and timing belt has been changed at 80k miles, and the oil check turned out good, the transmission fluid turned out cherry red, and the transmission shifts very well, and quick to respond. as for the inside goes, everything works fine, reclining back seats, front power seats, back massage seats, sun roof etc. the air shock suspension works well, and it seems to be in good working order. How reliable is this suspension? thats my main concern. thanks for the input.

Welcome to CL and Car Chat, corcor808....glad to have you.
I'm not sure what you mean by "how reliable is the suspension?".....unless you mean things like wheel alignment and shock/bushings wear. In general, the smoother the road (and the less often an inattentive driver runs wheels and tires into curbs) the less repair/adjustment the suspension and wheel alignment will require. So, with your particular car, it will depend on the kind of life it has had, who owned it, and the kind of roads it has been on.
I'll say one thing for the LS430's suspension, though. Given proper care and maintenance, this was arguably the smoothest-riding Lexus product ever built. Today's LS, IMO, though still an excellent luxury car, could learn a thing of two from it in the ride-comfort-department.
If you want more extensive talk on this car, though, we also have specific LS and LS430 forums where they go into the car in more detail.
