Which luxury brands have the worst designed badge?
I thought this might be an interesting poll. Putting brand biases aside (although I know that will be difficult) and going only by the badge design, what luxury brands do you think have the worst designed badges? Select up to 5 different options in the poll. I included only the major brands in the poll, including the luxury models from Hyundai (I also added in Buick since I was scolded last time for not considering them a luxury brand).
Here are the choices:

Land Rover probably has the cheapest-looking one for a luxury nameplate.. I'm also not impressed with the way Buick took out the red/white/blue from its triple-shield and just uses the chrome-outline (they still use the triple-colors in China).
The classiest one of all is probably the Rolls-Royce Flying lady, but that brand, of course, is in the mega-luxury range, not the same class as these choices.

The Genesis is surely the most unimaginative, using wings that Aston Martin, Chrysler, and Bentley have used for decades. What does Hyundai have to do with wings? (BTW, Hyundai Aero makes buses, not planes... )
And the Equus is also a blatant bastardization of the Spirit of Ecstasy...

IMO both designs are executed very well, but there is no originality.
for equus - if you squint your eyes
you will see a horse - nose tip for sure. so basically it's a winged horse. also the shape has 'U'. but yeah hood ornament was an awful idea. i dig the design, but it's too rolls. it was definitely intentional.
they basically just modernized the famous symbol
Wing - in korean, and probably in all culture means 'soar', 'take off'. it's appropriate for the product named 'genesis'.
yes, it is inspired by many other brands. it's the most widely used symbolism in automotive industry. hyundai being a follower, just followed everybody else.
not sure which came first.
and winged logo is almost as common as a shield logo. i would say the wing and shield is probably the most widely used symbolism among major companies.
