If I'm wrong about what I said then just say it
Just because I have all lexus in my doesn't mean I haven't owned other cars
weight probably will equalize with what the 15 GT is now. Camaro was always around 200# heavier. They made the car have less headroom and less backseat space, people arent going to like that. Motor Trend said headroom went down from 37.4" to 36.6"
blue outline is the 15 Camaro
Very interesting. Did this improve aerodynamics, drag and fuel economy with this change?
Didn't realize they made it smaller. Practicality is more important to the Camaro the say the Corvette.
Room was already tight with the outgoing model. My brother has a 2014 and the back seats are for children only, which can be expected but why make it even tighter?

Cool, slow mustangs. Did you even build any of them?
Here's what you wanted: there is no weight information or performance data about the Camaro, so don't make assumptions about the speed. People were doing the same thing with the C7 Corvette because it was heavier, yet the fastest one has gone 11.4@120 completely stock. That's faster than the lighter, and almost as powerful(on paper), C6 LS3 Corvette has managed.
For those that haven't realized it, the 6th generation Camaro is built upon the Alpha platform that is used for the ATS. This is why the car has gotten smaller.
i think the biggest thing Chevy wanted to do was lower the weight, but I think by making it physically smaller they are going to alienate some people.
Im not that short but sometimes I wish i was taller but then I think about how many cars I wouldnt fit in and nahhh never mind.

Interesting they went smaller, considering there was a design study a few years ago for a smaller RWD coupe.

I only helped build 1. Because he helped me install a flywheel and a t56 in my z28. Then I blew the bottom of the block racing a turbo s2000 on the freeway. I'm not a mustang fan btw. But it's been the same story since the 60s. Until maros loose 200+ pounds. Then it's a different story
I plan I'm doing a 69 chevelle build in the next year or 2. And I'm going to be installing a ls3 with a t56 trans. Hard to save for toys when you have to lil one's and live in bay area
