July 2014 Sales Thread

Pathetic. No need for them to advertise for the upcoming hybrid, they would only be wasting their money. They should just do a limited run for whatever number they've already built, then carry that tech over to the TLX for MY2016. If the Lexus GS hybrid only sells 10-15 units per month, what would an RLX hybrid sell? 2-3 per month? The RLX should be discontinued. There is no longer any demand for this model.

So it's safe to assume you feel the same way about that car

The Q70 is a 4 year old car due to be refreshed for MY2015 before the year is out.
Even so, that 4 year old car is outselling the brand new RLX by over 30%. That is pathetic.
So to answer your question, no not safe to assume I feel the same way about the Q70

Naw, that wouldn't be fair, would it? But if we did, imagine a world where a 4 year old LS was beating a brand new S-Class by 30% in sales. Of course that would never ever happen. But to prove my point, that's how pathetic current RLX sales are compared to the Q70. Everyone knows a refreshed Q70 is right around the corner and yet it's still outselling a brand new RLX by 30%. That's pathetic.
The only pure comedy I see is you defending the RLX 3 posts after you just bashed it

Lol so you are on a Lexus forum trying to pick on the LS? It still sells 2nd/3rd in class lol.
Sadly the LS doesn't sell as well as the Q45/Q doesn't exist...
Oh wait...
Not defending the RLX, just showing everyone your lack of logic. Thanks for posting!
Now do what Johan did!!!!

I look forward to your thoughts and experience with your time in the GX. It's amazing how well the GX is doing with the facelift. At this current rate the GX should sell about 21,000 units for 2014. The GX is outselling the CT and GS...Amazing...

Some observations and comments.
- Proof positive the spindle grill is a success despite how some critics bash the new Lexus face. GX sales speak volumes.
- Acura has to fast track the NSX to bring back the passion and appeal the brand once had. The TLX is a start but the RLX is dead weight.
- Camry... anyone realize it's pacing to hit close to 500k unit sales by year's end ???

Maybe Acura sedans should just become Hondas. The Avalon is in a zillion Toyota showrooms and sells in drastically bigger numbers than all the Acura sedans combined. Drop the V6 Accord and bring back the Legend as an Avalon competitor.
