Subjective, of course, but not what I would call cushy. I thought the new XTS, in particular, was disappointing in its refinement and ride comfort. I actually found the smaller, less expensive CTS more comfortable.
IMO, the best-riding new car from GM (and even combined with good handling to boot) is the new 2014 Chevrolet Impala. Yes, that's right...an Impala. Forget everything you ever remembered about rental-car-grade Impalas. This new one is a whole different cookie. GM did the new Impala on the same platform as the new XTS. But, unlike the XTS, GM got the Impala right.
