It's very likely that most of us have worked somewhere that had substandard equipment. I used to process paperwork that required the constant use of a computer. My employer's machines were ancient and saddled with software that frequently acted up.

I don't think the people at the Lexus Design Center in central Japan have the same problem. Their 11-year-old office features spaces such as a "Real-Scale Theater" with a trio of big screens that allow the automotive artists to view 3D, 360-degree designs in simulated environments.
