W205 C63AMG spec and photo released
Detailed specification and photo of the new C63 AMG finally comes out. Notice the engine even puts out much higher hp than the AMG GT:

- C63 AMG S: 510hp, 515 lb-ft of torque; 0-100kmh (0-62mph): 4.1 seconds
- Tire size: 245/40/R18 (front); 265/40/R18 (rear)
- C63 AMG standard options: AMG Ride Control sports suspension w/3-stage adjustable shocks; AMG speed-sensitive sports steering system; internally ventilated and perforated brake discs (size: 360mm/330mm – front/rear)
- C63 AMG S standard options: all options above, plus: black accents for both interior/exterior styling treatments; dynamic engine mounts; composite brakes; 19-inch lightweight alloy wheels; , electronic-locking, limited-slip rear differential; upgraded front/rear axles

Not really, cars with smaller wheels are faster on the track. Big wheels are for show...
The cts v sport comes with 2 wheels the smaller have a summer tire the bigger an all season.
With a smaller wheel you have less rotating mass

+1 You want less rotating mass entering corners, one way to have less mass is by having a smaller wheel.

But Porsche doesn't work that way either.
I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm just saying the non-S should have 19"s, and the S should have 20"s.

Looks like this car will be coming in just a smidge under 4000lbs. She's a piggie, so I expect this car to be just as fast as the M3/M4 and not anything more. Supposedly it's going to be blast to drive though.
Mercedes is no stranger to offering small-ish wheel options and neither is BMW. The M3/4 comes with 18" standard.

Except, the S version has the bigger wheels rather than the smaller wheels. If bigger wheels are for show, then the non-S should have the bigger wheels.
But Porsche doesn't work that way either.
