If you're referring to the 3rd gen TL, then I agree. The 4th gen TL was hideous and the TLX already looks 10x better. They're heading in the right direction, but they need to execute the whole package better. The ILX would have been a good car if it wasn't for the sub-par drivetrain.

It was very evident when you look at the sales number. The 4th gen sold probably half of what the 3rd gen did. Even with the face-lift, it never recovered.

I am not going to dispute your evidence, I loved the new TL look and feel. As far as sales goes, well there are many factors that can effect the sales.
