Hit-and-runs happen every day. Sorry you had to be one of the victims, especially after spending that kind of money on a nice car. I don't believe in Karma per se, but those who DO practice evil usually get their dues sooner of later. I'd bet that will eventually include the guy that hit you and sped off.

Medium-to-dark gray paint, BTW, as opposed to the much more difficult silver and light-metallics, is usually fairly easily matched in most body shop on a re-paint, especially if the original paint, like that on your car, is new and not had a chance to weather much. And, of course, today's clear coats tend to minimize even THAT from happening much.

^^ OP got into an accident himself hydroplaning. He created this video "discovering" the hit and run as a kind of joke, and to lighten the situation
