2004 BMW 530i vs 2001 Lexus LS430
I know this board will be somewhat biased but I'd still would like to know your opinions. Im 27 years old and I own an LS with 155k miles and I dont like small cars. But it seems like the BMW is just as long but not as wide with a better feel. What do you guys think should I trade or no?

5 series is 190 inches and ls430 is 196 inches, it's close but the ls is bigger. the 5 is more against the gs (189 inches inches for 2nd gen).
the ls430 is more numb in driving for sure and 5 series more connected, but the ls430 v8 is quite a bit more powerful and much smoother / quieter than the 530. not to mention about reliability, ls430 will just go forever
if it's 550i it might be a tougher choice imho, but with 530i i personally would just stay with the ls430. especially if the bmw is high mileage as well, i would be even more cautious

Stay away from the BMW. If it were the previous body style E39 530i and it had a stack of maintenance records, then I'd say go for it. The E60 cars are hideously expensive to repair(more so than previous BMWs). Plus if you're going to get a BMW, get one with the twin turbo straight six.
Really though, I'm kind of suprised you're comparing these two cars. They don't look or drive anywhere similar to each other.

I'd suggest an even better impression would be made by not calling them hoes and treating women with respect .

I had both, I like the LS almost everything more than the 530, except one thing: steering feel.
I bought the bimmer after the LS, and man I keep driving the 5 and didn't want to get back in

On your automotive question, I'd stick with an LS430. Arguably the best product Lexus ever did, if a smooth quiet ride is what you are looking for, with little or no sporting characteristics. Older BMWs can be a blast to drive if you like their telepathic steering feel and superb ride/handling combo, but they are known for electrical problems and expensive parts/service, so I would not own one that was out of warranty.
