Pretty unacceptable agreed. If they offer it elsewhere and it has no issues with local law, and people are willing to pay, well hmm let's think about this..

I can't imagine any issue with laws The red interior is available with the white, grey, silver, and black body colors RC F

hah I didn't mean necessary colors in relation to law, but bumper designs is a good example.

As for colors, it really should be a non issue. Give the people what they want!

You have the reason right there -- it may get too expensive to offer more than 1 or 2 interior colour choices.

The Canadian market for expensive cars is incredibly small so it gets especially expensive to sell cars that will not sell to more than a handful of buyers.

They make a blue interior for the LS in Japan. They have the pieces there. No reason why I shouldn't be able to get it via special order especially if they ship from the same region. Lexus needs to get behind Special Ordering more. L-Select should be available to all. Not saying I want a blue interior though but the option is nice.

Then charge the consumer enough for it - problem solved.

What I loved the most was that the had an actual Model S and a body-less Model S.

Of course, you can talk to the representatives at the store in case you are really interested one.
It's always impossible to actually get into the cars at the King of Prussia Mall here in Pa--the Tesla store is always packed. It's no accident they are next to the Apple Store.
