Ugly? New Ram pickup joins odd grille list
#16
Wow that is so ugly.
I know Dodge is trying to get away from the current "gunsight" grill they've had on all their cars for the past 10-20 years now, look at the 2015 Charger as an example, which has grown on me.
I still hope this isn't their solution for the trucks though, and this is just a concept or just the top trim level. Cause that is so UGLY.
Also, what was ever wrong with calling the trucks a Dodge? I really don't care for that Ram name or that stupid Ram logo that looks like a vagina.

Most likely just the results of good sales. Although it still doesn't sell in F-150 or Silverado numbers, the Ram nameplate on the newer models handily outsells the old Dodge logo by a good margin. Not only that, but the new Rams produced in the last couple of years have been a real pleasure to drive. They essentially ride and handle like big sedans, not trucks, while still maintaining big work-truck capabilities.

Ask a guy what sort of truck he drives and he'll tell you FIRST, EVERY TIME a Ford, a Dodge, a Chevy, a Toyota. Most people won't say, oh I drive a Ram, a Tundra, a K2500. Hell my Toyota truck doesn't even have a model name, didn't need one made up by the marketing department for them to sell a few million of the little buggers back in the 80's and 90's.

It looks like a giant bowtie. I like the black grille that debuted on an offroad package a few weeks ago.
