2016 Honda Civic

I hope those drawings aren't it. The taillights are obnoxious, there's a huge front overhang, the coupe has a feminine bobtail, and the sedan appears to have more of a cheap hatchback look with no trunk.

We're not going to pretend to be car interior designers, but it's clear they're going for a multi-layered look that makes the cabin feel wider. The lines may have been inspired by Mercedes, who use the same approach on everything from the CLA to the S-Class.
The infotainment screen continues to be angled towards the drive, a feature we very much like about the Civic. However, we may see more of the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto features everyone keeps talking about.
Because test mules for the next Civic hatch have been seen with Acura parts, we believe the hatchback will have the same interior. Honda has hinted that UK-built 5-door models could be imported to the States. Even the mighty Type R has been rumored to be US-bound, but we'd be happy with its engine in the Si Coupe.

No double-decker instrument panel, no sea of Star Trek Enterprise buttons, but rather, a simple and straightforward centre stack! What is the world coming to?
Will the beak be next to go? (But I have noticed that it seems to be migrating from Acura to Honda.)

Transformers meets Fast & Furious. Way too busy and cluttered. But at least they've learned about that ridiculous Star Trek dash.
Always interesting to see a great brand and car model deteriorate to please fashion trends when it could have evolved its clean simple shapes and dash designs to modern standards.
Those late 90's and 2000's Civics were probably the nicest evolution of this car. I wish I had those climate controls on my GS!

Those above dashboard and console pics are probably nicer than many new 2015 layouts. We've gone way off the deep end with some crazy designs that try too hard to make a statement. Just want a clean, modern, smooth dash with everything quick and easy to reach. Great pics!

Coupe caught track testing in the US

And that interior dash from above definitely looks better without the double-stack design.

2016 Civic hatchback spied - cool or tool?
Return of the Civic hatchback - prototype spotted testing Si / Type R parts.

I used to love Civic hatchback back in the 5th gen days when I was still in high school. But this one seems maybe it could be too grown up and adult? The triple centered pipes do look sporty tho.
