Absolutely agree. An SUV that looks like an SUV usually gets my vote. The last gen Escape had all that and was a raging success. The current unit doesn't seem to be making the same splash.
Sales seem 'ok' though not CR-V status . They had a nice little marketing push with the 'foot open trunk' feature but other makes are taking away that ace. I'd like to see a refresh look more muscular like this Edge.

True I miss the hybrid. They don't make it because of the C-Max Hybrid and Energi models, but it's really not a replacement because its missing AWD option
