I looked it up and the Huayra has been approved for sale in the US and meets all government crash and emissions standards. There is a dealer in Los Angeles, demand is so hot from what I read that a Huayra will set you back a cool $1.4 million dollars. The Zonda was never intended for US markets, so its still forbidden fruit.
BTW, if that $1.4 million price tag is steep, mint condition McLaren F1's are going for $5 million plus now days.
