Stop the video at 0.32, look closely, and you will see what one of the problems on the LX was....and why the driver apparently had a hard time controlling it. The right front tire is pretty much gone....he was riding on the alloy rim.

it seems like there were control issues with steering, especially when you see the LX just go back and forth in the same direction. However, if you watch further into the video, you do see scenes where the driver was able to turn the steering wheel. Im going to say driver was drunk or scared ****less to the point where he/she couldn't function

Even with a freely-operating steering wheel, though, that doesn't do you much good if you don't have two functioning front tires to transmit that steering down to the road.

It's obvious that he or she didn't want to get caught...in most countries, leaving the scene of an accident is a serious offense. Plus, having no license-plates on the vehicle itself (and possibly driving without a valid drivers' license) are additional citations. I suspect that it may have been a stolen vehicle to start with....SUV theft-rings are big-buisness in some countries.

naaah. simplest explanation is always the best...

He just couldn't drive.

So many terrible drivers in china. Somehow the kungfu mojo doesn't translate into adept driving skills.

Just today, some chinese driver in a current S-class ran a red light (after stopping for a while) on a perpendicular street and made a left turn in front of me. I was driving down a major street.

The driver is at fault but still the video is hard to watch.

Perhaps a little of that, too, but you still need tires to steer a vehicle properly.

Not to get too deeply into into stereotypes, but mainstream Chinese culture, unlike ours, is just getting into automobiles on a mass scale now for the first time. After years of riding bicycles, many new (or newer) Chinese drivers simply don't understand, or are not used to, the concept of a 1-2 ton vehicle and the amount of damage it can do if not driven properly. Sometimes they find out too late...or after an accident.

It not hard to understand why he/she react this way

1. he/she hit and kill a person and will likely face charge with prison + $$$ for victim's family.
2. Act like crazy and he/she might get away with no prison time but only $$$ to compensate the victim's family
