For the record, this car has the 420hp 5.0 v8 and is the highest trim available. As was said before, the badges were removed for aesthetic purposes only.

I had the same issue, just had to have the holes filled and trunk and front bumper resprayed. It's a great look!

And aesthetically, this looks great.

I have a GS430 now, and have had a Toyota Supra and a Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo. All my cars were debadged, only leaving the center logo. All words removed or blacked out.

Sometimes it makes the rear look a little too plain, so occasionally you need to add a another subtle design element to spruce it up. But overall, I prefer the car without all the names and model names or numbers on the car.

I like your idea. Leave the logo in place. Remove the model trim info.

Debadge is better than rebadge (posers).

Wow! Is this factory leather?

been to Europe prolly half a dozen times and don't recall seeing any cars de-badged...and I've never seen a Lexus de-badged in the states.

exactly! just my .02 but de-badging looks like you are hiding the fact that it's a base model....even tho its the top-end model you have....
but to each their own....car looks great!

....besides, I love the actual Genesis badge.....it's very clean IMO

Sounds to me like too many people worrying about what too many others think. If they bought a low-end model....so what?
