Default BMW i8 vs Tesla
One of my neighbours just bought an i8, why would anyone get that over a Tesla? the i8 sure is a head turner, but I thought it is more expensive than the Tesla. I saw an i3 on the road too as I don't live far from BMW's Canadian head offices. I thought they looked fugly but I guess that's my opinion only.

The Tesla is a sedan and the i8 is a sports coupe. Also the i8 is way newer and will turn more heads.

plus one is EV and one is PHEV...
