If I may jump in.
Listen to his response as the guy approached the elderly man.
Elderly man states : "I don't care" 3+ times, "Double yellow stripe", "I got stung by a wasp"
His words will be held against him.
The lawyer will probably question him on why he said "I don't care". He will need a good answer for that.
As for being stung by a wasp. The prosecutor could ask him to prove that he was stung. Where was he stung, is there a welt, etc.
Looks like the driver is charged with aggravated assault.

Nobody came over to the old man because to everybody who saw it, it was very clear that he intentionally swerved into the oncoming lane to block or hit the guy on the motorcycle. If you watch somebody beat someone on the sidewalk, do you walk up to the guy doing the beating and ask if he's okay?

This thread reminds me of conversations with my 10-year old. When he asks about something that isn't possible, and you tell him, and the follow up is "Well, what if you can fly like Superman?" "But you can't." "But, what if you could??"

How can you be certain he did it on purpose?
He is crying out "I don't care" because the guy walks up to the old man and accuses him, basically triggering a nonchalant reaction.
I am petrified that guys like him are out there.

What happened to being gentle and asking

come to think of it, the bike rider should be charged for intentionally putting his passengers life in danger by attempting to pass in a no-passing zone, which is deadly, as was the result.

and one more thing I just realized : Why did he bike rider not go take care of his passenger, but rather run to confront the driver of the car? He really cares. Huh. This is the biggest BS I have seen in 10 years.

Evidence? What is the evidence? That the two got into an accident? Beyond that how do you prove intent? Are you all some sort of mental seers?
