Well by some miracle the damage is entirely cosmetic! No damage to the engine, suspension, not even any damage to any of the wiring harnesses or anything like that. Even the front camera and the parking sensors themselves seem to be fine. $3,800, and should be done by the end of the week next week assuming they can get parts, they're working to source them now. Thats my other concern, I have heard through some sources that parts are a little hard to come by for these vehicles, and the SX-L has a special front fascia vs other Sedonas too. We'll see...
Allstate has really been great. I called it in yesterday morning, by noon I had a claim manager on it who called me personally to introduce themselves, the adjuster called me from his cell when he was headed out there this morning, and called me back right afterwards. I have direct numbers for everybody, very impressed. I've had other claims over the years, windshields, my wife's Prius was hail damaged once, but this is the most significant insurance claim I've ever had and everybody has been great, very friendly, impressed.
Nope, doesn't seem to be.
All in all it could have been a LOT worse.

Yeah they do, it'll be all OEM new parts.

For the parts needed for this particular damage (lower front end), whether they are OEM or aftermarket (OEMs usually cost more) probably doesn't matter very much. It usually matters more with parts like door/trunk/hood/fender panels, where poor-quality anti-corrosion treatments or an inexact fit can increase the likelihood of wind noise and/or premature corrosion. In that case, it's usually better to go with OEM parts. But, for a simple lower-front-end piece and grille, I wouldn't worry too much.

IMHO the front bumper is one of the most important things to be OEM to get it to fit properly. I've had fitment issues before even with OEM bumpers...
In any event, its 6 months old all the replacement parts need to be OEM.

So sorry of your situation. Thank goodness no one was hurt. All can be repaired, so you'll be back up to snuff.
Title makes it sound like the van was the cause, so it was a relief to read it was the leaves.

Waiting to hear back from the shop for 100% sure, they were sourcing the parts. If the parts are readily available it should be back maybe Thursday.
