In the Genesis I think I have found a great daily driver and a car I will thoroughly enjoy driving for years to come. At this time I am looking to replace the spot held by the GT500 for something more enjoyable. I have narrowed it down to the following cars:
1. Nissan GTR - pros are AWD, room for kids in the rear, and the wife can drive this in a pinch
2. 997 Porsche Carrera 4s - love the Porsche build quality and driving experience. The styling is also classic and the AWD paired with a manual makes this a front runner
3. Mercedes CLK63 AMG - an absolute hammer - very rare and would be a hoot to drive - RWD obviously but the uniqueness of this car make me seriously consider it.
Each has its pros and cons, the Genesis will get me back and forth to work every day and the new car would be for rallies, drives, and just having some fun. The Shelby had 720hp at the wheels so I feel confident in my ability to handle any of the above. The budget is right around 60k and these are all right there. Let me know what you think - Its always great to hear from those that may have experience with these cars.

Id go GTR. I ran with a Carrera 4s last week on the trac in my ISF and it handles well but it doesn't pull . No torque = no bueno on the freeway. CLK63 AMG you are just asking for headaches

If AWD is a priority (as it seems to be), for 60K, I'd check out the Audi S4 or S5. For that price, you can get a brand-new one....maybe with some change back. It's not as powerful as the AMG, but still plenty quick, and recent Audis, after years of being money-pits, have become much more reliable.

in terms of performance per $$$ you can't really beat a GTR. i was in a 2013 GTR once and it's absolutely incredible what that thing can do. not to mention once you tune it you'll crush literally everything even more than you already are. sound is kinda bleh to be honest, definitely sounds like speed but nothing special.
can't argue with the CLK though, very pretty, probably more 'fun' than the GTR but it'll get smoked every time.

RS5 would be slightly more in line with his performance parameters.
I don't think you can go all that wrong with any of your options.
For something a bit more raw/rare, the Alfa Romeo 4C could be interesting, but could be hard to find under $60K, and lacks some of the comfort factor of the others you've chosen.
If you're going to hold onto it for a bit, the Porsches are a bit more timeless, and definitely the best looking of the bunch, but won't stand out in a crowd (not sure if that's a pro or con for you)
