Thanks ydooby,
I could not and still cannot find that calty design logo on the web but my guess from early this morning is confirmed.
My guess was based on the many italian designed cars sporting a design studio logo.
Now I just need to find out who designed the lower half of the new GS bumper with the plastichrome trim rings on the fog lights and convince that person to retire.

Below, I have attached a "logo" I found on a 2009 Lexus youtube video...

The video is of the 2 key designers from Calty, speaking about their Lexus LF-Ch design concept.. Which later became the Lexus CT200 h

Thanks Joe,
I guess I will be back to Japan to wage my war against plastichrome.
While I am at it I will try to solve the age old question of "If no enthusiasts like Bose, why does it keep being put in cars, particularly performance/enthusiast cars like the GTR"?
Tret, your chop covered another of my manufacturer pet peeves. The most custom wheel looks include a polished or machine finished rim with a colored spider yet Lexus (and most other manufacturers) refuse to offer the look (Porsche does).

The LF-Gh was unveiled April 12, 2011. The 4GS will start sales around spring 2012. Only took them 1 year to roll it out...
Considering NAIAS is slated for January 9-22,2012, could it be possible to see a brand new SC in showrooms by early to mid 2013![Big Grin](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
I can't freakin wait...

I see huge similarities between this concept and the production LF-A. Pretty obvious relation, as if Calty was instructed, "you must design a concept around this existing platform".
Nonetheless I like it.
It will be 2+2. Hybrid is probably a given since we're entering an age in te USA where federal legislation itself practically makes it necessary. Lexus can implement it better than in their boring cars, however.
I prefer this to be a RWD-only coupe (don't care for convertibles at all) with a turbocharged engine regardless of the hybrid system used.
Also, I'd be disappointed if Lexus didn't offer a traditional manual transmission. The LF-A needs to shift in the least time possible. A passion coupe doesn't and nothing is more passionate and engaging than a true manual. Even in a Lexus.
Also, the new SC needs to have a mechanical or electronically active rear differential that allows for aggressive driving and the shutdown of all traction control and nanny systems.
Should be a great car.
