Depends on the car but I think anything over 100k miles is too much

I sometimes wish I hadn't sold my e46 at 125k miles. Most reliable car I've ever been in contact with. Only non-wear item I ever replaced was the Final Stage Resistor, which was under $100, though the dealer did replace the Bosch window regulators very early under the warranty.
