What small SUV to buy? I have a headache

Yes, it is. I love the new RX, especially the interior, but I'm looking for something not much longer than our G37 Vert to fit in the garage. Believe it or not, the RDX has almost the same dimensions. The G37 has lots of wasted space, especially in the trunk to accommodate the top. The RX is almost 10 inches longer.

I know you have mentioned that you are not a fan of MB or BMW; but I would really suggest you take a look at the new GLC. I had a '13 GLK250 and it was a fantastic little SUV/CUV. I wasn't a huge fan of the styling; however, it really grew on me - but the closer for me was the diesel.
I ended up getting rid of it due to needing a bigger vehicle; but I have been in the new GLC and it improves on everything that was lacking in the GLK. Looks fantastic, interior finish is now up there with Audi and they have managed to make it more spacious. I think it is also pretty strong value too.
The NX200T is nice; but I was a little let down by the interior. Compared to the new RX it really feels much more entry level.
The RDX is ok. Boring as anything, but a solid car.
The new Land Rover Discovery Sport is out; again it looks OK. But I would always feel like it was just less than an LR4 or a RR Sport. Plus there is the whole reliability issue with a new Land Rover to gamble on.
Jag has the new F-Pace coming out this year. I saw one at the auto show at it looked excellent. The interior was OK, but given it is priced pretty low - it is understandable. If you wanted something fun and were willing to try out something really new - this would be a fun option.
For me; I would buy the GLC 100%; second place would go to the Jaguar F-Pace.
Honorable mention: Volvo XC60; Toyota 4Runner
