After the Oprah "You Get a Car!" episode, I think many people are aware of the tax implications of accepting these prizes. It's always better to sell the car unless you were planning to buy a car in the first place and it's exactly what you wanted.
She'll definitely come out ahead of the $25,000 pre-tax cash prize that she would have won if she didn't go for the car. She played a heck of a game considering she actually won it on her first free pick and the three good price guesses for the appliances were just an exhibition.

That's true of all late model Astons, V8 or V12 models. They look cool and sound great, but they aren't the type of number defying cars like a V8 Ferrari or V10 Lambo.
