Nascar has at least 800hp without the restrictor plates.

Cuz you know, Toyota executives have no idea what they're doing and just love to flush shareholder's money down the toilet.

I'm not sure if this post qualifies or not under your directive here...if not, go ahead and delete it. But, I, for one, am a firm believer that the driver plays as much of a role as the vehicle or manufacturer. That's one reason why A.J. Foyt had such a great record (and currently owns a racing team). He was the type of guy that could get into almost anything with four wheels, handle it like a pro (which he was, through and through) and win a race with it. He took many championships, in all types of racing.

I totally agree, and that is the point I was making why Scion failed while Lexus succeeded. It all depends upon who is driving

Congrats to Denny Hamlin!! Not too big of a fan of the Toyotas but they sure dominated the whole race staying up there and shuffling out my boy Jimmie Johnson But it's great to see that there are NASCAR fans on the forum!! I love NASCAR and am a huge fan. No matter what anyone says, all the major racing series in the world have their issues. But at the end of the day, racing is racing and I'm sure we still all love to watch it. To each their own but congrats Toyota! Now watch the Hendrick boys show them how it's done on the 1.5 mile tracks
