Although I am not a big fan of the GX, I would take a GX over an RX is every given situation except as a daily driver where the RX will be easier to live with.
You will DEFINITELY want a GX if you are towing any kind of appreciable load.
I was actually referring to exterior dimensions, not legroom, however I find myself corrected by a quick Google search.
GX: 192" L x 74" W x 74" H
RX: 193" L x 75" W x 68" H
Years ago, when I looked at a 4Runner, I discovered the same thing. I thought the 4Runner was much bigger than the Pilot and Highlander that I was looking at, but was actually about the same size--but much more cramped inside.
What about the Highlander. Has a better front end and feels roomier
This thing is on a lease. Right now, the leases on the HL are turrible, where even the RX has a better moneyfactor. Not a bad decision at all by the OP to get this, especially with the M package.
Quite a thread bump, but programs may change seeing how the Sienna demand was down 86% in April...
That doesn't seem to impact it, I think they just don't have a lot of leasing customers. Lease payments are basically the same as finance payments. Odyssey isn't much better. The Pacifica and Sedona are WAY cheaper to lease. Its like $300 a month less to lease a $50k Pacifica than it is a $50k Sienna.
Talking to family, and those who own a GX470 recommended the quality of the platform .
So its now down to the GX vs RX vs RDX
As you know three totally different vehicles/platforms....Really depending on where & what you'd really use it for. I spent a little while, late last yr checking/researching different vehicles for my wife & I & found the rx is a great well rounded vehicle for what we need. I do like the GX, but then if I going that way, I would of gone w/ a srt8 G/C.....I prefer a little more substance in a vehicle, hence a 6 cylinder. My wife actually wanted a SRX/XT5 which I looked at. My thought is if your going to step up, I wanted something on the other end that holds its value.....I'd say take someone w/ you & listen to what they say & think about your needs......
