One thing the new Camaro has, that didn't show up in his interior shot, is the hot/cold temperature adjustment for the climate control built into the chrome vent-rims. You twist the big outer edges of the vents clockwise or counterclockwise to make hot or cold air blow out of the vent. It's a neat idea, except that the shifter is right behind the vents, and, with max A/C on, will blow ice-cold air on your hands when you're shifting, or blast-furnace heat with the heater fully warm.
This is 2016, it can happen!

If you look closely, there is the traditional blue/red arrow-marking for direction of rotation.

Good question. Don't know...didn't ask him. According to Chevy, it is an available feature for 2016, but not standard. You would think that a top-level Camaro, and/or anything based on the ATS (or other Cadillac) platforms would have that feature standard.

Pretty much
Sounds like he ticked ever option box. I don't know if I'd have gone for the manual or automatic, I've had both trannies in the old 4th gen Camaro Z28 and liked the automatic better. Easier to launch, that six speed was tough to keep the tires from going up in smoke.

BMW's **** is just an adjustment to refine the temperature of the air coming out of the center vents. I thought MM was saying that the ring around the center vent was the actual HVAC system temperature control. My BMW has a conventional temperature control, plus the dash vent ****. Not the same as the Camaro at all.
