Love how these Teslas look and the new Model X is very cool too with Falcon doors and auto open/close doors.
Need to test drive one of these things.

the other electics aren't as aggressive on regen brakes. tesla really use it to the max. it feels weird in the beginning but if you think about it, that's really the right way to be efficient on these cars. once you adapt to the driving, you wouldn't need to use brakes much at all
thanks for the clarification.

but over time, now it is the standard mode, and during my test drive the first thing sales told me was about the braking. it took me about 2 redlights to adapt to it, and honestly after that i don't think i really had to brake much. i think that's simple but genius thinking on efficiency

Tesla Model S P100D Hits 60 MPH In 2.7 Seconds In The Rain
In case you had any doubt that electric cars can accelerate quicker than almostanything else on four wheels, then the video below is for you.
A few months ago, Tesla introduced the most ballistic variant of the Model S to date, the P100D, claiming that it is the fastest production vehicle currently on sale, capable of hitting 60 mph (96 km/h) in just 2.5 seconds.
To see just how potent the P100D is off the line, DragTimes on YouTube recently organized a series of tests for the car. Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate so the P100D was forced to test in the rain but even still, it ranks among the world's quickest production cars.
Despite the road being drenched in rain, the car accelerated from a standstill to 60 mph in just 2.72 seconds, just a couple tenths off Tesla's official claim and ahead of some incredible performance cars like the Lamborghini Aventador and Porsche 911 Turbo S.
Perhaps the biggest take away from this video is the insane grip the Model S P100D generates. It has almost no wheelspin in conditions which would have seen an Aventador desperately clawing at the pavement for grip even with its all-wheel drive system.
