I was going off what looks like a piece of the foglight which I swore was off a facelift car. Or am I wrong?

Pretty fair bit of sleuthing there, gentlemen!

It's like a local would-be ATM bandit who left his rear bumper at the scene as he tried to yank the money machine out of a closed c-store with his pickup. Too bad for him his license plate was still attached.

To quote the perp when captured within the hour: "Ah did'n do nothin'. . ." - which in the local cop shop is tantamount to a full confession.
