Default Can anyone identify the model from these parts?

I was recently the victim of a hit and run driver who totaled my parked vehicle in the middle of the night.

They left a midnight blue bumper and some of the parts pictured. Based on the front sensors ( DENSO 89341-50070 ) and silver fragments I figured out it was a Lexus. Would love to know the specific model, as it will help me search for them.

The inside of their bumper that they left on the street said "PP P-T320 TSOP-6B "

Another piece has a sticker that says 250L HL

I've got more pieces in a box if anything helps.

Link to photos.

Looks like an LS460 to me. Flush sensors, the shape of the cutout for the headlight washer.

Yup.

2013 or newer LS460/LS460L or remotely an LS600hL

Appears to be a car in Deep Sea Mica, that's not a common color on an LS. This should be an easy car to locate.

That sucks.

You should contact Lexus corporate and ask if they can find the VIN based on any identifying numbers you can provide and/or see if they are willing to share registered vehicles in that color in the area. They might request a police report, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

Not sure if any barcode scanner could provide more information as well on any parts that has or shows them.

2013+ LS' are pretty rare and knowing the color makes it even rarer. I don't remember any member here with that year/color in your state.

How lame are we that we were able to figure out what model Lexus it was from his bumper fragment? LOL

Actually it's pretty amazing you were able to identify that. I couldn't at first glance.

I would imagine some drunk driving idiot did this.

Assuming it's Las Vegas, it could very well be someone from the L.A. area and not a local, which greatly widens the search.

I love you guys. This will narrow the search greatly.

In a hour or two I'm going to post a few more of the big pieces from the headlight area just to confirm the model before I call the police and update them.

I'll also post updated fliers in my neighborhood with a stock photo of the model so that people will know what to look for. They may have seen a deep sea mica LS 460 without damage before the collision which would help.

Luckily I don't think they could drive back to LA without repair as I followed a trail of car parts for half a mile. Gave a flier and called about 40 local body shops.

Thanks again.

I found some more writing on other pieces. "Koito" has come up a few times. I know they make car parts but I have no idea how common they are in the US or if that's significant.

A few more pics.

I'll also see if Lexus can help me. Thanks for that suggestion.
Thanks again. Your willingness to help a stranger is very touching.

I'm afraid I'm not much help in the part identification department, Steve might be.

But in looking at the damage, I have to wonder if his or her airbag deployed. I think Lexus is auto-notified through the emergency system. Well, I'm not sure. Again, call Lexus corporate and beg and plead. They may have all the info you need provided it doesn't break any privacy laws.

Looks like a 2010 model to me. I don't think the 2013+ model had that clear headlight bezel. Koito is an OEM manufacturer. They make lighting equipment for Toyota, Honda, etc. Very common.

Finally managed to get the QR code on the front passenger bumper clean enough to scan. The number is quite long and not a VIN, but could it be an identifying number?

59512007012513472802508UOFR3WU

Planning on calling Lexus tomorrow to see what help they can offer.

QR code number image.

Heading out to put up fliers with the specific model. Very glad to have found you all.

8U0 is the color code for black sapphire pearl, which looks blue.

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...ire-pearl.html

I'm guessing that 2007 is the year of manufacture, maybe January 25th?

I did some looking around and it looks like it would make sense for a car with a VIN ending in 13472 to have a bumper made in January 2007.

Yeah looking at it more I think it's a pre 2013 LS.

Glad we can help! Incredible somebody would do something like this and run away with their car in that state.

Looks like my VIN theory was wrong. Perhaps that is just a serial number for the bumper. LS460 VIN 13472 (JTHGL46FX75013472) is white.

yes... I have to much free time on my hands

Well, privacy laws don't apply when you are dealing with a hit-and-run criminal offense. in severe cases, that can carry some significant prison time.
